Pro-Vice Chancellor Professor Harun-or-Rashid and Treasurer Professor Mizanur Rahman of Dhaka University resigned Tuesday.
In the afternoon, they tendered their resignation letters to Nurul Islam Nahid (Education Minister).
Senor information officer of the education ministry Subodh Chandra Chowdhury confirmed the matter.
For regarding the matter, Professor Harun-or-Rashind said, “I have resigned on personal ground. I want to research & concentrate to education.”
He also said, “The resignation letter has been submitted to President Zillur Rahman, also Chancellor of the university.”
